With the resumption of these flights, Afghanistan’s air connectivity with regional countries is gradually expanding.

While foreign airlines are renewing their flights to Kabul, serious questions remain about security conditions, service quality, and human rights under Taliban rule. Many international organizations have warned about the lack of legal guarantees and widespread violations of Afghan citizens’ rights, especially those of women and girls, in areas controlled by the Taliban.

Establishing commercial flights without necessary assurances for the safety and freedom of Afghan citizens should not be interpreted as acceptance of the current situation. Not only airline officials but also the countries of origin must pay serious attention to the humanitarian and legal implications of these decisions.

Etihad Airways to restart flights between Abu Dhabi and Kabul on December 18 amid ongoing security and human rights concerns under Taliban rule.

[17,6

post-628","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-international
["GET
