According to him, these imports would include oil, gas, medicine, industrial products, grain, cooking oil, and other items.

He added that Afghanistan, in return, could export goods such as dried and fresh fruits, vegetables, medicinal plants, carpets, and minerals to Russia. He believes such exchanges have the potential to increase bilateral trade between Kabul and Moscow.

The report also mentions ongoing efforts to organize an exhibition of Afghan products in Moscow; a move that could help introduce domestic products and create new commercial opportunities. These remarks come amid reports yesterday about the resumption of the Taliban administration’s engagement with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, while ongoing sanctions and banking restrictions remain major obstacles to normalizing Afghanistan’s economic relations with the world.

Afghanistan’s Taliban ambassador in Moscow says the country aims to buy oil and gas from Russia if financial and banking restrictions ease.

[7,17

post-5950","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-business","category-important-news
["GET
