Security officials under the Taliban administration report that in two separate incidents in the Nimroz and Herat provinces, significant quantities of smuggled medical drugs and narcotics were discovered and confiscated.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for the Nimroz Security Command stated that forces from the Zaranj\u2013Delaram Highway Battalion prevented the transfer of 159 cartons of medical drugs, weighing a total of 1,391 kilograms. According to the spokesperson, the shipment was loaded onto a Suzuki vehicle and was being transported for smuggling to Helmand province.<\/p>\n
