In a message posted on the social media platform X early Thursday morning, January 4th, Andisha stated that General Akramuddin Sarir was targeted and killed in the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Without providing further details, he emphasized the terrorist nature of the event.<\/p>\n
The Afghan representative to the Human Rights Council expressed condolences to the forces known as the ‘Stronghold of Resistance against Taliban Ignorance and Intimidation,’ stating that it is expected the case be seriously pursued and the perpetrators identified and apprehended.<\/p>\n
He added that every assassination carries a clear message\u2014the urgent necessity of united resistance against violence and targeted elimination, a phenomenon that in recent years, coinciding with the Taliban\u2019s rule, has raised widespread human rights concerns.<\/p>\n
