Officials noted that these deportations are planned to take place via regular commercial flights rather than special or chartered flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to German sources, the initiative is being carried out as a relatively discreet operation due to the sensitive nature of the issue and the political and security situation in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt stated, \u201cThe deportation of criminal refugees must be carried out systematically, which is why direct talks with the Taliban in Kabul are deemed necessary to ensure continuous returns.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is worth noting that two previous deportation flights from Germany to Kabul were arranged with Qatar\u2019s mediation.
