According to a statement from the ministry, the main focus of their discussions was strengthening political and economic relations between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan, as well as addressing recent regional developments.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, Amir Khan Muttaqi expressed a desire for regional relations with Afghanistan to be based on diplomacy, mutual understanding, and respect. He stated that, in the Taliban administration&#8217;s view, political and economic ties between the two countries have seen growth.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Perkin Tokumov emphasized Kazakhstan&#8217;s continued comprehensive cooperation with Afghanistan and said achieving lasting regional stability was a shared responsibility among all countries in the region.
