The European Union has announced its support for projects aimed at strengthening the economic empowerment of Afghan women and girls as part of the global campaign ‘Orange the World.’ This initiative focuses specifically on promoting women\u2019s participation in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and enhancing their economic resilience.<\/p>\n
The EU emphasized that poverty and the lack of basic infrastructure place the greatest burden on women and girls. Therefore, improving their economic indicators can play a key role in reducing their vulnerability to violence and social inequality.<\/p>\n
At a time when the Taliban administration has systematically restricted women’s access to education, employment, and economic participation, such international support can serve as a critical means of maintaining their social engagement.<\/p>\n
