According to reports, the order was issued on Sunday, September 21, by officials from the Taliban\u2019s Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. The officials visited tailoring shops in the Rangrezan area and other parts of Kandahar city, directly warning tailors that men are not permitted to sew garments for women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the directive, many tailoring shops that previously specialized in women\u2019s clothing have been forced to shut down, leaving numerous local workers and artisans facing severe financial difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
