These individuals report that despite significant effort, the amount of gold obtained is very small, and it takes them several days to extract just one gram of gold.

Residents also report the presence of gold mines in various parts of Panjshir, and say that due to the ban on using machines for extraction, they are forced to dig the earth and wash the soil using simple traditional methods. One of the miners stated that although the use of advanced machinery has not been permitted, the use of tools they have made themselves is allowed.

Mohammad Agha Hakim, the governor of Panjshir, announced that the Taliban administration has only authorized manual gold extraction and prohibited machine-based mining. He added that a legal framework is being prepared to issue licenses to authorized individuals for gold extraction in the district’s mines.

Additionally, the Panjshir Environmental Department has urged miners to follow environmental protection principles during their activities to prevent pollution of river waters and damage to nature.

These restrictions and challenges have made gold extraction in Panjshir a difficult activity with minimal income for residents, despite the fact that the presence of gold in these areas could represent a significant source of revenue.

Taliban bans machinery for gold mining in Panjshir, forcing residents to mine manually with basic tools, causing low yields and environmental concerns.

[7,17

post-25382","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-business","category-important-news
["GET
