The Taliban official did not name these countries nor provide further details. These comments come despite the fact that no country has officially recognized the Taliban administration to date, with such claims remaining limited to unofficial and informal statements. In recent weeks, the Taliban administration has intensified efforts to gain support and official recognition from regional and non-regional countries.
