Located west of the 64-meter road, this newly developed road stretches 450 meters and is part of the municipality\u2019s broader urban development plans.<\/p>\n<p>Mohammad Naser Armal, the spokesperson for the Herat Municipality, stated that in addition to the asphalt paving, the project included the construction of culverts and dual-side drainage systems. He added that the project was completed with over 3.5 million Afghanis allocated from the municipality\u2019s development budget.<\/p>\n<p>This development comes amid widespread delays or halts in urban infrastructure projects in many Afghan provinces since the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan more than two years ago.
