He called for allocating revenues from this sector to finance major national infrastructure projects. According to Azizi, Afghanistan’s vast mineral capacities, if managed properly and supported by advanced technologies, can strengthen the national economy and promote economic self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n
Azizi identified attracting domestic and foreign investment as essential for the development of the mining sector. He added that such investments should incorporate modern technologies during exploration and extraction phases to ensure more effective utilization of natural reserves. He also claimed that the legal export of precious stones and other minerals from Afghanistan continues under the country’s name.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy prime minister of the Taliban administration, invited foreign companies to invest in Afghanistan during the event. He announced the administration’s readiness to facilitate economic conditions, highlighting that long-term lands with special conditions, and without the requirement to partner with Afghan investors, will be allocated to these companies.<\/p>\n
