According to an OCHA statement on November 5, these funds have been highly important since 2024 for the continuation of humanitarian operations in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>Afghanistan in recent years has faced challenges including large-scale returns of migrants, pressure from climate shocks and natural disasters, which has increased the need for international assistance.
