According to the report, Netanyahu has repeatedly pressured Trump to raise tensions with Iran and secure support for his political candidacy, but Trump has opposed the request.<\/p>\n
Haaretz also claimed that Netanyahu has turned to direct confrontation with commanders in the Israeli military to advance his goal and is trying to hold on to power until the very last moment. In response to possible threats, Iran has said it will target the occupied territories.<\/p>\n
