On Sunday, 3 November, the organisation said on its official page on the social media platform X that no child should be infected with polio, a preventable disease.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion of World Polio Day, the organisation said efforts to vaccinate children should be expanded so that the last unvaccinated children are also covered. Polio is a viral and highly contagious disease that mainly affects children and can cause permanent paralysis.<\/p>\n<p>Vaccinating children has been described as the main way to prevent the disease.
