Tom Barrack, the US special envoy for Syria and Iraq and Washington’s ambassador to Turkey, referred to the current situation of the Israeli regime and acknowledged that it is moving strategically toward internal collapse. In an interview with Mario Nawfal, Barrack claimed that he does not consider the Israeli regime evil and described its actions as self-defence. He also called himself the regime’s best friend among Arab countries and said he is trying to persuade Arab leaders to form a joint alliance.<\/p>\n
The Israeli outlet Ynet reported that Barrack’s earlier positions, which were somewhat critical of the regime, have prompted growing reactions and opposition to him within the US administration.
