Azizi wrote on his official page on the social network X that the purpose of the meeting was to accelerate the operationalisation of major energy plans in the country.

However, the implementation of such projects has so far failed to gain momentum due to restrictions and the Taliban administration’s management of the energy and economy sectors, and there are concerns about delays in launching infrastructure projects. In addition, the Taliban administration’s policies limiting private sector activity could lead to the failure of similar efforts.

Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) is one of the main bodies responsible for the production and distribution of energy in the country and has long faced technical, managerial and funding challenges. Despite its capacity and investments, the private sector also lacks the necessary ability to revitalise this field because of administrative and security obstacles.

Afghan officials and private sector leaders discuss cooperation to launch a 10,000-megawatt power project in Afghanistan.

[7,17

post-24438","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-business","category-important-news
["GET
