Foreign Policy has acknowledged in its latest report that war and military action by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran have not weakened the country, but instead strengthened its regional capabilities and influence. According to the report, Tehran has learned from recent developments that by using leverage such as the Strait of Hormuz and targeting U.S. allies in the region, it can inflict significant economic and psychological pressure on its enemies.<\/p>\n
Foreign Policy notes that continuing the war without imposing serious deterrence on Iran could lead to a stronger position for the country in regional and international equations. The report also warns that the ongoing conflicts have affected geopolitical relations beyond the battlefield and altered the balance of power in the region and the world.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the Foreign Policy report also examines the potential consequences of the war for Arab states on the Gulf coast, saying that a few limited attacks could seriously damage vital sectors such as energy, trade and investment in these countries, as these areas were previously regarded as security hubs. In response to limitations in support from the United States and the Zionist regime, some regional countries have turned to buying Turkish-made drones and cooperating with China and Ukraine.<\/p>\n
In addition, Israel may seek to counter what it sees as threats by pursuing a policy of creating buffer zones in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria and continuing military attacks, a course that would require heavy military and social costs.
