Local media in the United States have reported that during a campaign rally for Donald Trump, the current US president, in the state of Texas, a number of protesters repeatedly interrupted his speech and at least 10 people were removed from the venue.<\/p>\n
According to Mehr News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen, the incident took place last night and was accompanied by tension at the site. In response, Trump called the protesters “mercenaries.”<\/p>\n
At the same time, those in attendance, described mainly as Trump supporters and Republicans, intensified the tense atmosphere by shouting protests against the demonstrators and chanting slogans in support of the United States.<\/p>\n
According to published images, one protester filmed himself as he was being escorted out of the venue, amid jeers from the crowd.
