{"id":23352,"date":"2026-10-06T13:00:17","date_gmt":"2026-10-06T13:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/10\/06\/taliban-reclaims-buri-land-baghlan-315-jeribs\/"},"modified":"2026-10-06T13:00:17","modified_gmt":"2026-10-06T13:00:17","slug":"taliban-reclaims-buri-land-baghlan-315-jeribs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/10\/06\/taliban-reclaims-buri-land-baghlan-315-jeribs\/","title":{"rendered":"Taliban says 315 jeribs of Buri land in Baghlan reclaimed after 45 years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Taliban-run General Directorate of State Companies has said 315 jeribs of land belonging to the state-owned Buri company in Baghlan province has been taken back from local residents after about 45 years and returned to the company.<\/p>\n<p>Mohammad Nabi Bahar, spokesman for the directorate, said the land had been in the possession of residents of the villages of Sorkh Kutal, Gorgan and Pul Khatol.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, after the land was reclaimed, contracts were drawn up with the relevant residents in line with the company\u2019s policies, and the land has now been handed back to them in the form of a lease.<\/p>\n<p>The Taliban administration did not provide further details about these contracts, the lease period, or how possible disputes between the company and local residents would be resolved.
