Organisers say the event is being held to protest Israeli attacks on Gaza despite the Oct. 10, 2025 ceasefire and to draw attention to the humanitarian situation of Palestinians.<\/p>\n<p>The march is being organised by non-governmental organisations that are members of the Ankara Palestine Solidarity Platform (ANF\u0130DAP). The event will begin at 7 p.m. at Kocatepe Mosque and end at Melike Hatun Mosque, after which a gathering featuring speakers will be held.<\/p>\n<p>Metin Mahitapoglu, the rotating spokesperson for the platform, described protesting what he called \u201cIsrael\u2019s occupation and genocide in Palestine\u201d as a human responsibility.
