The release of the video on social media has triggered widespread reactions, with some users describing his remarks as a confession to a crime.

In part of his video from a trip to Afghanistan, Byley asks the fighter how he feels when killing people. He says that if he kills someone because they are what he calls an “infidel” or for not accepting sharia, he feels nothing and kills such a person “like a chicken”; but, according to him, killing someone out of enmity feels different.

In response to Byley’s question about how many people he has killed, the fighter says he remembers only one incident: killing 14 people in one day in Panjshir. Byley’s translator said these people had been members of Afghanistan’s National Resistance Front.

In 2021, after taking control of Afghanistan’s provinces, the Taliban administration faced armed resistance in Panjshir and eventually captured the province. Taliban forces in Panjshir have been accused of widespread human rights violations, including the killing of prisoners.

A Taliban fighter says he killed 14 people in one day in Panjshir, sparking outrage after a video spread on social media.

[17,5

post-23138","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-security-incidents
["GET
