The Taliban administration\u2019s foreign ministry summoned the charge d\u2019affaires of Pakistan\u2019s embassy in Kabul on Tuesday and handed him a protest note over a recent incident in Nuristan.<\/p>\n
In a statement on its X page, the ministry claimed that a number of people had entered Kamdesh district from the Durand Line and intended to carry out destructive activities, but Taliban forces prevented them.<\/p>\n
The Taliban administration\u2019s defence ministry had earlier said 28 people were killed and 32 others were detained in recent clashes in the area. The Afghanistan Freedom Front, an anti-Taliban group, also claimed its fighters had clashed with the administration\u2019s forces in Nuristan and inflicted casualties on them. The claims by both sides have not been independently verified.<\/p>\n
The Taliban administration\u2019s foreign ministry described what it called actions by the Pakistani government as a violation of Afghanistan\u2019s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and said those actions were contrary to Islamic, international, human and neighbourly principles.
