The Taliban administration\u2019s Ministry of Interior also said the men were detained after being identified on drug trafficking charges.<\/p>\n<p>The incident comes as drug trafficking and production remain among Afghanistan\u2019s major challenges, exposing large numbers of people to addiction every year.<\/p>\n<p>The United Nations has also repeatedly stressed the need to continue supporting Afghanistan in the prevention, treatment and recovery of people affected by addiction.
