The centre has been set up in Chah Ab district, one of the areas of Takhar province.<\/p>\n<p>Officials from the Taliban-run Ministry of Public Health say they are trying to expand health services to remote parts of the country so residents do not have to travel long distances for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Takhar province is located in northeastern Afghanistan, and a number of its remote areas face shortages of basic services, including health care.
