The Afghanistan Freedom Front has said that in an attack by its forces on the First District of the Taliban administration in the centre of Sar-e Pol province, three fighters from the group were killed and two others were wounded.<\/p>\n
In a statement issued on Friday, 25 September, the front said the attack took place around 10:00 p.m. on Thursday at the location where Taliban administration forces were stationed in central Sar-e Pol.<\/p>\n
According to the Afghanistan Freedom Front, the incident occurred when a number of Taliban fighters had gathered inside the district office. The group did not provide further details on how the attack was carried out or on possible casualties among its own forces.<\/p>\n
The Afghanistan Freedom Front has previously said its attacks against the Taliban administration have increased. In another incident, it said three Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in Kabul.<\/p>\n
