Nangarhar police say that in two separate incidents in Dar-e-Nur district of the province, a young man shot and killed his father, while in another incident a young man died by suicide.<\/p>\n
In a statement, the Nangarhar police command said both incidents took place this morning in two different areas of Dar-e-Nur district. The agency did not provide further details, but said investigations into the incidents have begun.<\/p>\n
According to police, initial information shows that in the first incident, a young man killed his father by gunfire after his father advised him and they got into a verbal argument.<\/p>\n
The Nangarhar police command added that the suspect fled the scene and efforts by security forces to arrest him are ongoing.<\/p>\n
In the second incident, which occurred in the same district, a young man hanged himself after his father barred him from associating with bad friends.<\/p>\n
