Tajudeen Oyewale, the representative of the United Nations Children\u2019s Fund (UNICEF) in Afghanistan, said the agency\u2019s experience with preventive measures in Afghanistan had been shared at the \u201cGlobal Forum on Impact Assessment.\u201d<\/p>\n
He wrote on X on Tuesday, 31 September, that acting before a crisis occurs, based on evidence, pre-arranged financing and strengthened local capacities, can increase communities\u2019 ability to cope with crises.<\/p>\n
According to Oyewale, the meeting was held in cooperation with UNICEF, the UN Refugee Agency, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the World Food Programme and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.<\/p>\n
