Three US media outlets have filed a federal lawsuit against the Trump administration after their reporters\u2019 access to the White House was revoked, seeking the immediate restoration of their press credentials.<\/p>\n
According to The Associated Press, CNN, MSNBC and Politico filed the lawsuit in Washington on Monday. The outlets said blocking their reporters from entering the White House violates their rights under the First Amendment to the US Constitution.<\/p>\n
The complaint says the restrictions on access were imposed without prior notice and without due process. The outlets also argued that the move was made in response to reporting published by the media organisations.<\/p>\n
