They said reopening the road will make travel easier for residents of the area.<\/p>\n<p>Officials also said reopening the route could help reduce traffic congestion in this part of Khost city.<\/p>\n<p>Khost is one of Afghanistan&#8217;s southeastern provinces, and its capital is Khost city.
