Under the rules of the event, athletes who fall one lap behind are not allowed to continue.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, no final time or placing was recorded for Khairandish.<\/p>\n<p>In this competition, a Japanese athlete won the gold medal, while representatives of China and Kazakhstan finished second and third respectively.<\/p>\n<p>On the sidelines of the event, Naqibullah Sheikhzada, head of Afghanistan\u2019s sports delegation, met with officials from the International Olympic Committee and the Asian committee. According to the report, his talks with officials from these bodies focused on issues related to the holding of the Asian Games in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>Triathlon is an endurance sport that usually consists of three parts: swimming, cycling and running.
