Among those returning were about 38,388 women and children.

Pakistan has in recent years repeatedly intensified the process of returning Afghans, a move that has consistently raised concerns among human rights groups and international organisations about the safety and vulnerability of returnees.

UN experts urge Pakistan to stop forced expulsions of Afghans and protect women, children and other people at risk.

[17,3

post-22098","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-top-news
["GET
