Russian authorities said a Ukrainian drone attack on the Yaroslavl region caused a fire at an oil refinery. The regional governor said no casualties were reported in the incident.<\/p>\n
At the same time, Moscow officials said 65 drones were shot down over the Yaroslavl region and more than 50 others over the Rostov region overnight. The governor of Rostov also reported that debris from a Ukrainian drone damaged a power plant, cutting electricity in parts of the city of Rostov.<\/p>\n
According to local officials, about 50 drones were targeted during a large-scale attack on the city of Rostov. No reports of casualties have been released so far.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Russia’s Defence Ministry said its forces targeted vessels used by the Ukrainian armed forces overnight. It also claimed to have struck industrial facilities, military-industrial complex sites, and energy and transport infrastructure in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia and the Odesa region.<\/p>\n
According to the Russian Defence Ministry, the country’s aerospace forces also hit two temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian forces in the Kharkiv region using FAB-500 bombs. These claims have not been independently verified.<\/p>\n
Yaroslavl is located northeast of Moscow, while Rostov is one of Russia’s southern regions. Both areas have been hit repeatedly by drone attacks and their aftermath in recent months.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
