{"id":21916,"date":"2026-09-15T18:15:19","date_gmt":"2026-09-15T18:15:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/09\/15\/gaza-death-toll-73789-palestinian-health-ministry\/"},"modified":"2026-09-15T18:15:19","modified_gmt":"2026-09-15T18:15:19","slug":"gaza-death-toll-73789-palestinian-health-ministry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/09\/15\/gaza-death-toll-73789-palestinian-health-ministry\/","title":{"rendered":"Gaza death toll rises to 73,789, Palestinian health ministry says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said the number of people killed in the Gaza Strip since the war began on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,789, while the number of wounded has reached 174,798.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry said that in the past 24 hours alone, the bodies of three people were transferred to hospitals in the Gaza Strip and 27 others were injured.<\/p>\n<p>According to the body, a number of victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, and rescue teams have been unable to reach them because of the current conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Gaza&#8217;s health ministry also said that since the ceasefire came into effect on Oct. 11, 1,375 Palestinians have been killed and 4,686 others wounded.
