The scheme is due to be implemented over two years in 11 districts of the province.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, more than 14,000 families will benefit from the project. The main aim of the initiative is to create job opportunities and help strengthen household economies.<\/p>\n<p>Local officials said the programme is also designed to increase people\u2019s resilience to natural disasters and economic hardship. They said the project will not be limited to employment, but will also include educational and support components.<\/p>\n<p>The report says Badakhshan is among the provinces vulnerable to natural and economic problems.
