She also said this sense of abandonment is not limited to Taliban policies, adding that a number of Afghan political leaders have also been indifferent to the situation of women.<\/p>\n<p>Koofi said on Sunday at a Martyrs Week event that Afghan women have not even received due attention from some political figures in the country. According to her, despite this situation, women have not remained silent in the face of restrictions and have continued their struggle under difficult conditions.<\/p>\n<p>She added that Afghanistan\u2019s history will record women\u2019s persistent resistance. According to Koofi, women protesters in Afghanistan have even turned \u201cthe roofs of their homes into a field of struggle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Koofi also said that if Afghan women had not resisted the Taliban authorities, the administration might by now have gained international political legitimacy. She claimed that the struggle of Afghan women would eventually \u201cdismantle and humiliate\u201d the Taliban authorities.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony was held online and was attended by a number of exiled political figures. Ahmad Massoud, Dr. Yasin Zia, Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum, Mohammad Mohaqeq, Salahuddin Rabbani and Abdul Rab Rasul Sayyaf were among the participants in the program.<\/p>\n<p>Martyrs Week is held every year to commemorate Ahmad Shah Massoud and other anti-Taliban figures.
