Mohammed Abdulsalam, spokesman for Ansarullah and head of Yemen\u2019s negotiating delegation, has said that the operations of Yemen\u2019s armed forces will continue until Saudi attacks fully stop and the country\u2019s siege is lifted.<\/p>\n
He told Al Jazeera that shipping routes in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait are safe, and that, in Ansarullah\u2019s view, there is no threat to international trade along these routes.<\/p>\n
Abdulsalam also said Yemen has no ambitions toward neighboring countries or other parts of the world, and that the current operations of Yemen\u2019s armed forces are being carried out in a \u201ctargeted\u201d and defensive framework.<\/p>\n
In another part of the development, Mahdi al-Mashat, head of Yemen\u2019s Supreme Political Council, announced that the situation in the western coastal areas has stabilized and that the amnesty decree is being implemented in areas under the control of the Sanaa government.<\/p>\n
