Yemen’s armed forces have accused Saudi Arabia of carrying out an airstrike on the central prison in the city of Al-Hazm in Al-Jawf province.<\/p>\n
Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, said in this incident a number of prisoners and visitors, including women and children, were killed.<\/p>\n
He said on Monday, September 7, 2026, that a Saudi F-15SA fighter jet took off at 4:30 p.m. from King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait in southern Saudi Arabia and targeted the prison with two airstrikes.<\/p>\n
