{"id":21448,"date":"2026-09-09T11:15:15","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T11:15:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/09\/09\/taliban-health-services-over-102-million-people\/"},"modified":"2026-09-09T11:15:15","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T11:15:15","slug":"taliban-health-services-over-102-million-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/09\/09\/taliban-health-services-over-102-million-people\/","title":{"rendered":"Taliban administration says it provided health services to more than 102 million people"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Inayatullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Taliban administration, said the Ministry of Public Health under the group provided health services to more than 102 million people across various sectors in the year 1447 AH.<\/p>\n<p>He announced the figures today at the eighth news conference titled &#8220;Government in the Mirror of the Media&#8221; at the Media Centre, saying the services included 99.7 million outpatient visits and more than 2.1 million inpatients.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, during this period 228,000 major operations, 384,000 minor operations, 75,000 hemodialysis cases, more than 8,000 intensive care services, nearly 290,000 ambulance services and more than 88,000 physiotherapy services were also provided.<\/p>\n<p>Mujahid also said treatment for more than 25,000 people suffering from addiction, treatment for more than 99,000 cancer patients and health services for 30,000 pilgrims were also included in the total.<\/p>\n<p>The Taliban administration did not provide details on how the figures were recorded, the geographic breakdown of the services, or a comparison with previous years.
