Asad Qaiser, a Pakistani political leader, has criticised recent remarks by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has paid the heaviest price in the fight against terrorism in recent years.<\/p>\n
He also said the policies of the Pakistani government were responsible for worsening insecurity in the province, adding that these same approaches had once again turned Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into a battlefield.<\/p>\n
The remarks come as the issue of insecurity and rising attacks in parts of Pakistan, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has become one of the main points of political debate in the country.<\/p>\n
