He added that the drone was hit with an &#8220;appropriate weapon&#8221; while carrying out what he described as a &#8220;hostile mission.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the downed drone was a Wing Loong 2 and was being used for armed and reconnaissance missions.
