A number of Russian traders and representatives of the private sector have said efforts are under way to create the conditions for exporting fresh Afghan fruit to Russia via rail.<\/p>\n
The Taliban-run Bakhtar news agency reported on Sunday, 15 Sunbula, that the issue was raised during a meeting between Russian traders and traders from Balkh province. According to the report, the two sides discussed ways to transport fresh Afghan fruit to markets in Russia.<\/p>\n
The meeting also discussed providing opportunities for online education for Afghan youth. Traders from both sides also stressed the expansion of joint investment and the strengthening of trade ties.<\/p>\n
