Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli army carried out a drone strike near Abu Asi School in Al-Shati camp in western Gaza, an attack that came as the death toll in the area continued to rise.<\/p>\n
The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said 17 wounded people were taken to hospitals in the territory over the past 24 hours. The ministry said some victims were still trapped under the rubble and in the streets, and rescue teams had so far been unable to reach them.<\/p>\n
According to the ministry’s figures, since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 1,344 Palestinians have been killed and 4,481 others wounded. It added that the bodies of 826 martyrs have been recovered from under the rubble during this period.<\/p>\n
The Gaza Health Ministry said the overall death toll in Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,651, while 174,592 people have been wounded.<\/p>\n
