According to the front, the incident took place early on Sunday morning, 8 Sunbula, at the Rah Gardu pass.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement posted on Facebook, the front said the attack was carried out on the route between Balkhab district in Sar-e Pol province and Dara-i-Suf district in Samangan province. The Republic Front claimed that the vehicles targeted in the operation were transporting coal.<\/p>\n<p>The statement said the cargo was being used for the \u201cillegal transfer of Afghanistan&#8217;s natural resources.\u201d The Republic Front also described mining operations under Taliban control as the \u201cplundering of natural resources\u201d and urged people not to remain silent in the face of what it called the \u201clooting of national assets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Taliban administration has not yet responded to the claim.
