{"id":20648,"date":"2026-08-29T15:00:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-29T15:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/08\/29\/freedom-front-taliban-clash-zibak-badakhshan\/"},"modified":"2026-08-29T15:00:15","modified_gmt":"2026-08-29T15:00:15","slug":"freedom-front-taliban-clash-zibak-badakhshan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/08\/29\/freedom-front-taliban-clash-zibak-badakhshan\/","title":{"rendered":"Freedom Front Says Hours-Long Clash With Taliban Administration Took Place in Zibak"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Afghanistan Freedom Front says clashes between its forces and Taliban administration forces in Zibak district of Badakhshan province began on Thursday evening and continued until dawn on Friday, the sixth of Sunbula\/Sep. <\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the front claimed that during several hours of fighting, fresh Taliban administration forces sent to Zibak to reinforce the group\u2019s members were forced to retreat.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Freedom Front, the Taliban administration had also dispatched new reinforcements from Kabul to Zibak district at the same time as changes were taking place in Badakhshan\u2019s local administration.
