The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said the number of people killed in the Gaza Strip since the war began on Oct. 7, 2023, has reached 73,449, while the number of wounded has risen to 174,472.<\/p>\n
According to the ministry, the bodies of 10 people killed and 18 wounded people were transferred to Gaza hospitals in the past 48 hours. Of those, nine were killed in recent attacks and the body of another person was recovered from beneath the rubble.<\/p>\n
The Palestinian Health Ministry also said that a number of victims are still trapped under the rubble and in the streets, and that emergency, rescue and relief teams have so far been unable to reach them.<\/p>\n
Based on the figures released, since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 11, 1,313 Palestinians have been killed and another 4,361 injured. The ministry added that during the same period, the bodies of 815 people have also been recovered from under the rubble.<\/p>\n
