The statement said the King of Norway died peacefully.<\/p>\n<p>Reports said Harald V had been hospitalised because of haemolytic anaemia and later a bacterial blood infection. After his condition was reported to have worsened on Thursday night, members of the royal family went to his bedside.<\/p>\n<p>Harald V had been King of Norway for years, and the country&#8217;s Royal Palace has officially announced his death.
