{"id":20510,"date":"2026-08-27T11:00:18","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T11:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/08\/27\/yildirim-yanqisi-launch-afghan-literature-translation-turkish\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T11:00:18","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T11:00:18","slug":"yildirim-yanqisi-launch-afghan-literature-translation-turkish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/08\/27\/yildirim-yanqisi-launch-afghan-literature-translation-turkish\/","title":{"rendered":"Translators Stress Need to Promote Afghan Literature at Launch of &#8216;Yildirim Yanqisi&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the launch ceremony for the novel &#8220;Yildirim Yanqisi&#8221; by Noorullah Bahrami, participants stressed the need to translate and introduce Afghan literary works into other languages, especially Turkish.<\/p>\n<p>The event was held on Thursday, 5 Sunbula, by the Sakhan Association and was attended by a number of writers, poets, university professors and literature enthusiasts.<\/p>\n<p>At the start of the gathering, Dr. Manizha Behra, speaking on behalf of the Sakhan Association, described the translation of Afghan literary works as important for giving a wider introduction to the country&#8217;s literature and emphasized the role of the Turkish language in this field.<\/p>\n<p>Later, Dr. Nihad Degirmenci, a professor at Istanbul University, reviewed and analysed the novel and shared his views on its content. Sakhi Biramli also examined the work from an emotional perspective and personal impressions, while Dr. Noriaghdi Elsvir approached it from a sociological and social perspective.<\/p>\n<p>The novel &#8220;Yildirim Yanqisi&#8221; has been translated from Afghan Turkmen into Istanbul Turkish by Khadija Bahramian.
