Media reports show that Israeli air and ground attacks on various areas of southern Lebanon have continued, with several locations in the districts of Tyre and Marjayoun coming under fire.<\/p>\n
According to Al Jazeera, Israeli warplanes bombed the al-Mansouri area in Tyre, while the Serbin area was also targeted in the strikes. At the same time, Israeli artillery shelled the Zibqin area.<\/p>\n
The report says two further airstrikes targeted the towns of Beit Yahoun and Yater. The road along the Litani River in the al-Khardali area was also hit by heavy artillery fire.<\/p>\n
Media outlets also reported a powerful explosion in the Beit al-Sayyad area of Tyre. In Marjayoun, Israeli bulldozers have demolished a number of houses.<\/p>\n
The Bani Hayyan area also came under artillery fire at the same time, with residents’ homes being destroyed.
