At the meeting, Kunduz officials asked Uzbekistan to ease the visa issuance process for Afghan traders so that business travel and trade between the two sides can increase.<\/p>\n<p>Habib-ur-Rahman Saheb, the deputy governor of Kunduz, urged foreign investors, especially Uzbek traders, to invest in various sectors of the province. He said local authorities in Kunduz have provided the necessary facilities and conditions for investors.<\/p>\n<p>On the other side, Bahram Yusupov, deputy governor of Jizzakh province in Uzbekistan and head of the delegation, said his country is interested in increasing investment in Afghanistan. He added that the purpose of the visit is to further strengthen trade relations between the two countries, and the Uzbek side will try in the future to invest jointly with Afghan traders in different sectors in Kunduz.<\/p>\n<p>Kunduz is considered one of the important economic, agricultural and transit provinces in northern Afghanistan.
